حدثنا محمد بن إسحاق بن عثمان السمسار البخاري، قال: حدثنا داود بن مخراق الفاريابي، قال: حدثنا سعيد بن سالم القداح، قال:كثيرا ما كنا ندير مسائل أبي حنيفة رضي الله عنه بين يدي ابن جريج فكان يستحسنها، وكان محبا لأبي حنيفة رضي الله عنه، كثير الذكر له.

He said: We often discussed Abū Ḥanīfa’s legal questions in Ibn Jurayj’s presence, and he approved of them. He loved Abū Ḥanīfa, may God be pleased with him, and mentioned him often.
