Naṣr ibn Yaḥyā

Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad ibn Sallām, Abū Naṣr the jurist, related to us. He said: Naṣr ibn Yaḥyā related to us. He said: I heard Khalaf ibn Ayyūb say: I heard ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Abī Salama al-Mājishūn say: Abū Ḥanīfa, may God be pleased with him, came to Medina. We discussed his legal questions with him, and he put forward sound arguments. He cannot be blamed for that, for we have all spoken on the basis of opinion and argued on that basis.
