And Ḥamza ibn Ḥabīb, from Abū Ḥanīfa, from Abū al-Zubayr, from Jābir ibn ʿAbd Allāh—may God be pleased with him—from the Prophet—God bless him and grant him peace—that he said: ‘If someone sells a slave who has property, that property belongs to the seller unless the buyer stipulates otherwise. If someone sells date palms that have been pollinated, their fruit belongs to the seller unless the purchaser stipulates otherwise.’

And Ḥamza, from Abū Ḥanīfa, from Abān, from Abū Naḍra, from Jābir—may God be pleased with him—from the Prophet—God bless him and grant him peace—who said: ‘Whoever bathes on Friday has done well; whoever does not bathe, that is acceptable and good.’

The Arabic’s terse concluding idiom does not explicitly name an alternative act of purification.
