حدثنا أبي، وأبو سهل، قالا: حدثنا أبو عبد الله، قال: ذكر أيوب بن سليمان، قال: حدثنا سعيد بن سالم القداح، عن أبي حنيفة رضي الله عنه، عن حماد، عن إبراهيم رحمة الله عليهما، قال: إذا قال الرجل لامرأته: أنت طالق يا زانية، قال: فلا لعان ولا جلد.

My father and Abū Sahl related to us. They said: Abū ʿAbd Allāh related to us. He said: Ayyūb ibn Sulaymān mentioned it. He said: Saʿīd ibn Sālim al-Qaddāḥ related to us, from Abū Ḥanīfa, may God be pleased with him, from Ḥammād, from Ibrāhīm, may God have mercy on them both, who said: If a man says to his wife, “You are divorced, adulteress,” he said: There is neither liʿān nor flogging.
Liʿān is retained as the technical term in the reported statement.
