سهل بن عمار

Zakariyyā ibn Yaḥyā wrote to me. He said: Sahl ibn ʿAmmār related to us. He said: Al-Jārūd ibn Yazīd related to us, from Abū Ḥanīfa, from Shaybān al-Baṣrī, from Yaḥyā ibn Abī Kathīr, from al-Muhājir, from Abū Hurayra, may God be pleased with him, who said: When a proposal was made to the Prophet, God bless him and grant him peace, for one of his daughters, he would go to her private chamber and say: “So-and-so mentions so-and-so.” Then he would go and arrange the marriage.

Zakariyyā ibn Yaḥyā al-Naysābūrī wrote to me. He said: Sahl ibn ʿAmmār related to us. He said: Al-Jārūd ibn Yazīd related to us. He said: Abū Ḥanīfa related to us, from Ḥammād, from Ibrāhīm, may God have mercy on them, from Abū ʿAbd Allāh al-Jadalī, from ʿUqba ibn ʿAmr and Abū Mūsā, who both said: The Messenger of God, God bless him and grant him peace, would sometimes perform witr at the beginning, middle or end of the night, to give Muslims latitude.

Zakariyyā ibn Yaḥyā wrote to me. He said: Sahl ibn ʿAmmār related to us by authorization. He said: Al-Jārūd ibn Yazīd related to us. He said: Abū Ḥanīfa related to us, from Abū Hind al-Ḥārith, from al-Ḍaḥḥāk, from ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib, may God be pleased with him: The Prophet, God bless him and grant him peace, performed ablution, washing each part three times.
