حدثنا العباس بن عزيز، قال: حدثنا محمد بن حميد، قال: حدثنا النضر بن محمد، قال: حدثنا أبو حنيفة، عن حماد، عن إبراهيم رحمة الله عليهم، عن الأسود قال: صحبت عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه سنتين فلم أره قانتًا في الفجر.

Al-ʿAbbās ibn ʿAzīz related to us. He said: Muḥammad ibn Ḥumayd related to us. He said: al-Naḍr ibn Muḥammad related to us. He said: Abū Ḥanīfa related to us, from Ḥammād, from Ibrāhīm, may God have mercy on them, from al-Aswad, who said: I accompanied ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb, may God be pleased with him, for two years and never saw him perform the qunūt supplication in the dawn prayer.
