عبد الملك

Muḥammad ibn Hammām related to us. He said: Muḥammad ibn Yazīd related to us. He said: Ḥafṣ ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān related to us, from Abū Ḥanīfa, from ʿAbd al-Malik, from Nāfiʿ, may God have mercy on them, from Ibn ʿUmar, may God be pleased with them both, who said: Kaʿb ibn Mālik, may God be pleased with him, came to the Prophet, peace be upon him, and asked about a shepherdess tending his flock. Fearing that a sheep would die, she had slaughtered it with a flint. The Prophet, peace be upon him, instructed him to eat it.
