Ilyās ibn Hārūn related to me. He said: ʿUmar al-Bukhārī related to us. He said: ʿAlī ibn al-Ḥasan ibn Shaqīq related to us. He said: Ismāʿīl ibn Ibrāhīm—he is al-Ṣāʾigh—related to us. He said: Abū Ḥanīfa related to us, from ʿAwn ibn ʿAbd Allāh, may God have mercy on them, from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Masʿūd, may God be pleased with him, who said: On the Day of Resurrection, people will be presented with three registers: a register containing good deeds, another containing bad deeds, and another containing blessings. The register of blessings will exhaust the register of good deeds, leaving the register of sins. If He wills, He will punish, and if He wills, He will forgive.

ʿAlī ibn al-Farazdaq related to us. He said: Yaʿlā ibn Ḥamza related to us. He said: Bishr ibn Yaḥyā related to us. He said: Sahl ibn Muzāḥim related to us, from Ismāʿīl ibn Ibrāhīm, who said: Abū Ḥanīfa related to us, from Ḥammād, from Ibrāhīm, may God have mercy on them, who said: The Companions of Muḥammad, God bless him and grant him peace, and may He be pleased with them, agreed on nothing as they agreed on praying dawn when it had become light and hastening the sunset prayer.
