Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā ibn Manda al-Iṣbahānī

Related to us: Zakariyyā ibn Yaḥyā ibn Kathīr; he said: related to me: Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā ibn Manda al-Aṣbahānī; he said: related to us: Mūsā ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Khālid, from his father, from al-Nuʿmān ibn ʿAbd al-Salām, from Abū Ḥanīfa, from Abū al-Sawwār, from Abū Ḥāḍir, from Ibn ʿAbbās—may God be pleased with them both: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, underwent cupping while fasting.

Related to us: Zakariyyā ibn Yaḥyā ibn Kathīr; he said: related to us: Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā ibn Manda; he said: related to us: Rawḥ ibn ʿIṣām, from his father, from Abū Ḥanīfa, from Hishām ibn ʿUrwa, from his father, from ʿĀʾisha—may God be pleased with her: Fāṭima bint Abī Ḥubaysh said: “Messenger of God, I bleed for a month or two.” The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: “This is a blood vessel bleeding. When your menstruation begins, leave off prayer; when it ends, bathe to become pure and perform ablution for each prayer.”

Related to us: Zakariyyā ibn Yaḥyā; he said: related to us: Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā; he said: related to us: Rawḥ ibn ʿIṣām, from his father, from Abū Ḥanīfa, from Khālid ibn ʿAlqama—may God have mercy on them—from ʿAbd Khayr, from ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib—may God be pleased with him: He called for water and washed his hands three times each, rinsed his mouth three times, drew water into his nose three times, washed his face three times and his forearms three times, wiped his head three times and washed his feet three times. He then said: “This is how the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, performed ablution.”
