حدّثتُ عن أبي نصر منصور بن أيوب، قال: أخبرني ابن أيوب بن إبراهيم، قال: حدثنا أبو عبد الله الشيباني المصري قال: [حدثنا] أبو حنيفة عن حماد قال: قلت لإبراهيم: أقول: بسم الله يعني في التشهد؟ قال: قُل التحيات لله.

I was told from Abu Nasr Mansur ibn Ayyub; he said: Ibn Ayyub ibn Ibrahim informed me; he said: Abu ʿAbd Allah al-Shaybani al-Misri related to us; he said: Abu Hanifa [related to us], from Hammad; he said: I said to Ibrahim: Should I say, 'In the name of God'—meaning during the testimony in prayer? He said: Say, 'All greetings belong to God.'
