جعفر بن محمد (report 133; identity unresolved)

Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad al-Bazzār al-Bukhārī related to us. He said: Jaʿfar ibn Muḥammad related to me at al-Wāshjird, from Ibrāhīm ibn Muḥammad al-Khuzāʿī, who said: Shabāba ibn Sawwār related to us, from Ibrāhīm ibn Saʿd, who said: I passed Abū Ḥanīfa, may God be pleased with him, in Kufa, sitting in the sun. I said to him: “What keeps you from the shade?” He said: “The owner of this house owes me money, and I dislike sitting in its shade.”
