حدثنا العباس بن عزيز قال: حدثنا علي بن سليمان قال: حدثنا حكيم بن زيد قال: حدثنا أبو حنيفة عن نافع، عن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما، أن رسول الله ﷺ سن في الصلاة إذا نابهم فيها شيء: «التسبيح للرجال والتصفيق للنساء».

Al-ʿAbbās ibn ʿAzīz related to us. He said: ʿAlī ibn Sulaymān related to us. He said: Ḥakīm ibn Zayd related to us. He said: Abū Ḥanīfa related to us, from Nāfiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar, God be pleased with them both, that the Messenger of God, God bless him and grant him peace, prescribed in prayer, when something happened to those praying: “Glorification of God for men, and clapping for women.”
