حدثنا إسحاق بن الهياج بن مزنوف البلخي، قال: حدثنا بشر بن معاذ العقدي، قال: حدثنا أيوب بن واقد الكوفي، قال: رأيت أبا حنيفة عند هشام بن عروة يسأله عن فاطمة بنت أبي حبيش في الحيض والاستحاضة وحديث أم سلمة أنكم تختصمون إلي فحدثه بهما.

Isḥāq ibn al-Hayyāj ibn Maznūf al-Balkhī related to us: Bishr ibn Muʿādh al-ʿAqadī related to us: Ayyūb ibn Wāqid al-Kūfī related to us: I saw Abū Ḥanīfa with Hishām ibn ʿUrwa, asking him about Fāṭima bint Abī Ḥubaysh concerning menstruation and irregular bleeding, and about Umm Salama’s report, ‘You bring your disputes before me.’ He related both accounts to him.
