محمد بن زيد

Muḥammad ibn Zayd related to us. He said: al-Ḥasan ibn ʿUmar ibn Shaqīq related to us. He said: ʿUmar ibn Hārūn related to us. He said: I heard Ibn Jurayj say: I said to Abū Ḥanīfa, may God be pleased with him: “You are not more learned in jurisprudence than your companions, but you have been granted understanding.”
