Yaḥyā ibn Ayyūb al-Miṣrī

And Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Saʿid al-Hamdani al-Kufi informed us; he said: Muhammad ibn Musa al-Balkhi related to us; he said: Muʿadh ibn Fadala related to us; he said: Yahya ibn Ayyub related to us, from Musa ibn ʿUqba and Abu Hanifa, may God have mercy on them, from Abu Ishaq al-Hamdani, from al-Aswad ibn Yazid, from ʿAʾisha, may God be pleased with her: She said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to have intercourse and repeat it without performing ablution, and sleep without bathing.

ʿAbd Allah ibn ʿUbayd Allah related to us; he said: ʿAbd Allah ibn ʿAbd al-Rahman ibn ʿUqba ibn Sawwar al-ʿAnbari al-Misri and ʿAli ibn ʿAbd al-Rahman ibn al-Mughira al-Misri related to us; they said: Saʿid ibn Abi Maryam related to us; he said: Yahya ibn Ayyub informed us; he said: al-Nuʿman ibn Thabit Abu Hanifa, may God have mercy on them, related to me; he said: Ibn Shihab informed me: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, underwent cupping while fasting. He said: I said to him: You only mention it from Ibn ʿUmar? He said: It is as I tell you.

ʿAbd Allah ibn ʿUbayd Allah related to us; he said: ʿAli ibn ʿAbd al-Rahman al-Misri related to us; he said: Saʿid ibn Abi Maryam related to us; he said: Yahya ibn Ayyub informed us, from Abu Hanifa, from Hammad, from Ibrahim, may God have mercy on them: Concerning someone who says to his wife, 'Observe your waiting period': it is one divorce, unless he intended more than that.

al-ʿAbbas ibn ʿAziz al-Qattan al-Marwazi related to us; he said: Muhammad ibn Bakkar related to us; he said: Damra ibn Rabiʿa related to us, from Yahya ibn Ayyub al-Misri; he said: al-Nuʿman ibn Thabit related to us, from Abu Khalaf, from ʿAsim ibn Damra, may God have mercy on them, from ʿAli ibn Abi Talib, may God be pleased with him: He led his companions in prayer while in a state of major ritual impurity, then repeated it and instructed them to repeat it.

al-ʿAbbas al-Marwazi related to us; he said: Muhammad ibn Bakkar related to us; he said: Damra related to us, from Yahya ibn Ayyub, from al-Nuʿman, tracing it to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace: He forbade eating the small creeping creatures of the earth.
