حدثنا محمد بن إبراهيم بن زياد، قال: حدثنا عمرو بن حميد القاضي بالدِّينور والجبل كلها، قال: حدثنا إسماعيل بن عياش، عن أبي حنيفة، عن معن، عن أبيه، عن عبد الله بن مسعود رضي الله عنه، عن رسول الله ﷺ قال: «اشتروا على الله»، قالوا: وكيف ذلك يا رسول الله؟ قال: «تقولون: بعنا إلى مقاسمنا ومغانمنا».

Muhammad ibn Ibrahim ibn Ziyad related to us; he said: ʿAmr ibn Humayd, the judge in Dinawar and all of al-Jabal, related to us; he said: Ismaʿil ibn ʿAyyash related to us, from Abu Hanifa, from Maʿn, from his father, from ʿAbd Allah ibn Masʿud, may God be pleased with him, from the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace: He said: Buy on God's account. They said: How is that, Messenger of God? He said: You say: Sell to us on credit until our shares and spoils arrive.
