حدثنا محمد بن إبراهيم بن زياد، قال: حدثنا عمرو بن حميد القاضي بهمذان والدينور والجبل كلها، قال: حدثنا عصمة بن الجراح الفارسي، قال: حدثنا أبو حنيفة، عن أيوب بن عائذ، عن محارب بن دثار رحمة الله عليهم، عن عبد الله بن عمر رضي الله عنهما قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: «من قرأ تنزيل السجدة ويس وحم الدخان وتبارك الملك في ليلة، أجير من عذاب القبر، وشفع في أهل بيته، وكان كمن قام ليلة القدر».

Related to us: Muḥammad ibn Ibrāhīm ibn Ziyād; he said: related to us: ʿAmr ibn Ḥumayd, the judge in Hamadhān, al-Dīnawar and the whole of al-Jabal; he said: related to us: ʿIṣma ibn al-Jarrāḥ al-Fārisī; he said: related to us: Abū Ḥanīfa, from Ayyūb ibn ʿĀʾidh, from Muḥārib ibn Dithār—may God have mercy on them—from ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿUmar—may God be pleased with them both—who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever recites Tanzīl al-Sajda, Yā Sīn, Ḥā Mīm al-Dukhān and Tabārak al-Mulk in a night is protected from the punishment of the grave, is permitted to intercede for his household and is like someone who stood in prayer on the Night of Decree.”
The recitation names designate Qurʾānic suras 32, 36, 44 and 67.
