حدثنا محمد بن المهدي بن عبد الرحيم، قال: حدثنا عمار بن الحسين، قال: حدثنا جرير، قال: قال إسماعيل بن أبي خالد لأبي حنيفة: يا أبا حنيفة! المسلمون يرون ربهم يوم القيامة؟ قال: نعم، فقال له: صدقت، حدثني قيس بن أبي حازم، عن جرير بن عبد الله، قال: قال النبي ﷺ: «إنكم سترون ربكم يوم القيامة كما ترون هذا القمر ليلةَ البدر».

Muḥammad ibn al-Mahdī ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥīm related to us. He said: ʿAmmār ibn al-Ḥusayn related to us. He said: Jarīr related to us. He said: Ismāʿīl ibn Abī Khālid said to Abū Ḥanīfa: ‘Abū Ḥanīfa! Will the Muslims see their Lord on the Day of Resurrection?’ He said: ‘Yes.’ He said: ‘You have spoken truthfully. Qays ibn Abī Ḥāzim related to me, from Jarīr ibn ʿAbd Allāh, who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “You will see your Lord on the Day of Resurrection as you see this moon on the night of the full moon.”’
