Abū Bakr ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad ibn Khālid al-Qāḍī al-Ḥabbāl al-Rāzī

ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad ibn Khālid al-Qāḍī Abū Bakr al-Ḥabbāl al-Rāzī related to us. He said: Muḥammad ibn al-Mahdī al-Qūmisī related to us. He said: Muḥammad ibn Bukayr ibn Muḥammad ibn Bukayr ibn Shihāb related to us. He said: My father related to us, from my grandfather Muḥammad ibn Bukayr, who said: Abū Ḥanīfa wrote to me, informing me that Muḥammad ibn al-Munkadir had informed him, from Jābir ibn ʿAbd Allāh, who said: “I became ill, and the Prophet, peace be upon him, visited me with Abū Bakr and ʿUmar. I had lost consciousness in my illness. When prayer time came, the Messenger of God, God bless him and grant him peace, performed ablution and poured [some of his ablution water] over my face. I regained consciousness, and he said: ‘How are you, Jābir?’ He said: ‘Pray as you are able, even if by making gestures.’”

ʿAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad ibn Khālid related to us. He said: Muḥammad ibn al-Mahdī related to us. He said: Muḥammad ibn Bukayr related to us, from his father, from his grandfather, from Abū Ḥanīfa, from Muḥammad ibn al-Munkadir, from Jābir, God be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace be upon him, did not amputate for less than ten dirhams.
