حدثنا أحمد بن يعقوب بن زياد البلخي، قال: حدثنا عمرو بن عبيد الناقد، قال: حدثنا عفان بن سيّار الجرجاني، قال: حدثنا أبو حنيفة، عن حماد، عن إبراهيم رحمة الله عليهم قال: بأي أسماء الله افتتحت الصلاة أجزأك.

Aḥmad ibn Yaʿqūb ibn Ziyād al-Balkhī related to us. He said: ʿAmr ibn ʿUbayd al-Nāqid related to us. He said: ʿAffān ibn Sayyār al-Jurjānī related to us. He said: Abū Ḥanīfa related to us, from Ḥammād, from Ibrāhīm—God have mercy on them—who said: With whichever of God’s names you begin the prayer, it suffices for you.
