al-Mushmaʿill ibn Milḥān al-Ṭāʾī

Informed us: Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn Saʿīd al-Hamadhānī; he said: related to us: al-Qāsim ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿĀmir ibn Zurāra; he said: related to us: ʿUmayr ibn ʿAmmār; he said: related to us: al-Mushmaʿill ibn Milḥān, from Abū Ḥanīfa, from al-Haytham, from al-Shaʿbī—may God have mercy on them—from ʿAlī: Concerning blood money for accidental killing: the same as ʿAbd Allāh’s opinion concerning quasi-intentional killing.

Related to us: Muḥammad ibn Ibrāhīm ibn Ziyād al-Rāzī; he said: related to us: al-Ḥasan ibn al-Ḥakam al-Quṭrubbulī, the worshipper; he said: related to us: al-Mushmaʿill ibn Milḥān al-Ṭāʾī; he said: related to us: Abū Ḥanīfa, from Ḥammād, from Ibrāhīm—may God have mercy on them—who said: When the imam’s prayer becomes invalid, the prayer of those behind him becomes invalid.
