He said: ʿAlī ibn Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Sarakhsī related to us. He said: Aḥmad ibn Yūsuf al-Sulamī related to us. He said: ʿĀrim, Muḥammad ibn al-Faḍl, related to us. He said: Ḥammād ibn Zayd related to us. He said: I heard Abū Ḥanīfa, may God have mercy on him, relate from ʿAmr ibn Dīnār, with his chain of transmission, something similar.
