Abū Qurra Mūsā ibn Ṭāriq al-Zubaydī

Salih ibn Abi Rumayh wrote to me; he said: Ahmad ibn Saʿid ibn Farqad al-Makhzumi related to us; he said: Muhammad ibn Yusuf ibn Musawir Abu Yusuf related to us; he said: Abu Qurra Musa ibn Tariq related to us, from Abu Hanifa, from ʿAbd al-Jabbar ibn Waʾil ibn Hujr, from his father Waʾil ibn Hujr; he said: I saw the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, prostrate between his palms.

Salih wrote to me; he said: Ahmad ibn Saʿid ibn Farqad related to us; he said: Muhammad ibn Yusuf related to us; he said: Musa ibn Tariq related to us, from Abu Hanifa, may God have mercy on him, from Aban ibn Abi ʿAyyash, from Anas ibn Malik, may God be pleased with him: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to pray on a small mat and prostrate on it.

Wrote to me: Ṣāliḥ ibn Abī Rumayḥ; he said: related to us: Abū Saʿīd al-Faḍl ibn Muḥammad ibn Ibrāhīm at Mecca; he said: related to us: ʿAlī ibn Ziyād; he said: related to us: Abū Qurra Mūsā ibn Ṭāriq, from al-Nuʿmān, from Tamīm ibn Salama, from ʿUrwa, from ʿĀʾisha—may God be pleased with her—who said: When the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, performed witr, he would say: “ʿĀʾisha, get up and perform witr.”
