حدثنا العباس بن عزيز، قال: حدثنا علي بن سليمان، قال: حدثنا حكيم بن زيد قاضي آمل من أهل مرو، قال: حدثنا أبو حنيفة، عن نافع، عن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: «من اعتذر إليه أخوه المسلم فلم يقبل عذره فوزره كوزر صاحب مكس» يعني عشاراً.

Al-ʿAbbās ibn ʿAzīz related to us. He said: ʿAlī ibn Sulaymān related to us. He said: Ḥakīm ibn Zayd, judge of Amul, from the people of Merv, related to us. He said: Abū Ḥanīfa related to us, from Nāfiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar, God be pleased with them both, who said: The Messenger of God, God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever receives an apology from his Muslim brother but does not accept his excuse bears a burden of sin like that of a collector of unlawful tolls”—meaning a tithe collector.
