Wahb ibn Zamʿa

Abū Ṣāliḥ Shādil ibn ʿAlī al-Sarakhsī related to us. He said: I heard Wahb ibn Zamʿa relate from ʿAlī, from ʿAbd Allāh, who said: I did not turn to Sufyān until I had gathered Abū Ḥanīfa’s knowledge in my palm. He drew his fingers together like this.

Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā ibn al-Naḍr al-Warrāq al-Naysābūrī related to us: Muḥammad ibn ʿAbda ibn al-Ḥakam related to us: Wahb ibn Zamʿa related to us, from Sufyān ibn ʿAbd al-Malik, from ʿAbd Allāh, who said: I asked him about al-Haytham ibn ʿAdī. He said, ‘He used to sit with Abū Ḥanīfa, but he was associated with those in power.’
