محمش النيسابوري

Muḥammad ibn Naṣr ibn Sulaymān ibn Yazīd al-Harawī related to us. He said: Maḥmash al-Naysābūrī related to us. He said: I heard Ḥafṣ ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān say: “I sat with all kinds of people: scholars, jurists, ascetics, devoted worshippers and the scrupulous among them. I saw none of them who combined these qualities more fully than Abū Ḥanīfa, may God be pleased with him.”
