al-Ḥimmānī (Ibn al-Ṣalt) الحِمّاني (ابن الصلت)

Abū al-ʿAbbās Aḥmad b. al-Ṣalt b. al-Mughallis al-Ḥimmānī

A short text, possibly an abridgement of a longer original. Hadith critics accused its author of fabricating reports, while Ḥanafī biographers trusted him; his reports run through al-Ṣaymarī and al-Makkī.
