Abū Ḥafṣ al-Ṣaghīr أبو حفص الصغير

Abū ʿAbd Allāh Muḥammad b. Aḥmad b. Ḥafṣ al-Bukhārī

The earliest work in the genre, by the leading jurist of Bukhara. It is known only through al-Zaranjarī, whose reports almost all pass through Abū Ḥafṣ, and was unknown to writers in Iraq and Egypt.
