حدثنا زكريا بن يحيى بن كثير، قال: حدثنا محمد بن يحيى بن منده، قال: حدثنا روح بن عصام، عن أبيه، عن أبي حنيفة، عن هشام بن عروة، عن أبيه، عن عائشة رضي الله عنها،أن فاطمة بنت أبي حبيش قالت: يا رسول الله! إني أحيض الشهر والشهرين، فقال النبي عليه السلام: «هذا عرق من دمك، فإذا أقبلت حيضتك فدعي الصلاة، وإذا أدبرت فاغتسلي لطهرك وتوضئي لكل الصلاة».

Related to us: Zakariyyā ibn Yaḥyā ibn Kathīr; he said: related to us: Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā ibn Manda; he said: related to us: Rawḥ ibn ʿIṣām, from his father, from Abū Ḥanīfa, from Hishām ibn ʿUrwa, from his father, from ʿĀʾisha—may God be pleased with her: Fāṭima bint Abī Ḥubaysh said: “Messenger of God, I bleed for a month or two.” The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: “This is a blood vessel bleeding. When your menstruation begins, leave off prayer; when it ends, bathe to become pure and perform ablution for each prayer.”
حدثنا زكريا بن يحيى، قال: حدثنا محمد بن يحيى، قال: حدثنا روح بن عصام، عن أبيه، عن أبي حنيفة، عن خالد بن علقمة رحمة الله عليهم، عن عبد خير، عن علي بن أبي طالب رضي الله عنه،أنه دعا بماء فغسل كفيه ثلاثًا ثلاثًا، وتمضمض ثلاثًا، واستنشق ثلاثًا، وغسل وجهه ثلاثًا وذراعيه ثلاثًا، ومسح برأسه ثلاثًا، وغسل قدميه ثلاثًا، ثم قال: هكذا وضوء رسول الله ﷺ.

He then said: “This is how the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, performed ablution.”
