حدثنا أبو حامد أحمد بن عبدان البلخي، قال: حدثنا أبو حسان محمد بن فُور الصيدلاني، قال: حدثنا إبراهيم بن سليمان الزيات، قال: ذُكر أبو حنيفة عند إسرائيل، فقال: أعلم الناس بما يحتاج إليه أهل هذا الزمان.

Abū Ḥāmid Aḥmad ibn ʿAbdān al-Balkhī related to us: Abū Ḥassān Muḥammad ibn Fūr al-Ṣaydalānī related to us: Ibrāhīm ibn Sulaymān al-Zayyāt related to us: Abū Ḥanīfa was mentioned in Isrāʾīl’s presence. He said, ‘The most knowledgeable of people about what the people of this time need.’
