أخبرنا أحمد بن محمد بن سعيد، قال: حدثنا أحمد بن محمد بن يحيى، قال: حدثنا إسماعيل بن صبيح، قال: حدثنا عبد الأعلى بن محمد، عن يحيى بن سعيد، عن أبي حنيفة، عن موسى بن أبي كثير رحمة الله عليهم قال: قال علي بن أبي طالب رضي الله عنه: لن يصول بهؤلاء أحد إلا صال بالسهم الأخيب.

Informed us: Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn Saʿīd; he said: related to us: Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā; he said: related to us: Ismāʿīl ibn Ṣabīḥ; he said: related to us: ʿAbd al-Aʿlā ibn Muḥammad, from Yaḥyā ibn Saʿīd, from Abū Ḥanīfa, from Mūsā ibn Abī Kathīr—may God have mercy on them—who said: ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib—may God be pleased with him—said: “No one will attack using these people without attacking with the most unsuccessful arrow.”
