حدثنا سهل بن بشر، قال: حدثنا الفتح بن عمرو، قال: حدثنا عبدالرزاق، عن أبي حنيفة، عن زياد بن ميسرة، عن أبيه قال: سألت ابن عمر فقلت: إن لرجل علي أربعة آلاف إلى أجل، وأنه قال: عجّل لي ألفين، وأحط عنك ألفين، قال: فنهاني ابن عمر، ثم سألته فنهاني، ثم سألته فقام ابن عمر وأخذ بيدي وقال: إن هذا يريد أن أطعمه الربا.

Sahl ibn Bishr related to us; he said: al-Fath ibn ʿAmr related to us; he said: ʿAbd al-Razzaq related to us, from Abu Hanifa, from Ziyad ibn Maysara, from his father; he said: I asked Ibn ʿUmar, saying: A man is owed four thousand by me, due at a fixed term, and he said: Pay me two thousand now and I will remit two thousand for you. Ibn ʿUmar forbade me. Then I asked him and he forbade me; then I asked him, and Ibn ʿUmar stood up, took my hand and said: This man wants me to feed him usury.
