Concerning ʿAbd Allāh ibn Juzʾ al-Zubaydī, Abū Ḥanīfa said: “I performed pilgrimage in the year ninety-six. In the Sacred Mosque I met ʿAbd Allāh ibn Juzʾ al-Zubaydī, a Companion of God’s Messenger, God bless him and grant him peace. He was saying: ‘I heard God’s Messenger say: Whoever acquires understanding of God’s religion, God will suffice him in what concerns him and provide for him from where he does not expect.’”
