أحمد بن محرز بن الشاه الهروي

Aḥmad ibn Muḥriz ibn al-Shāh al-Harawī related to us. He said: ʿAlī ibn Khashram related to us. He said: I heard al-Faḍl ibn Mūsā, or someone else, say: Abū Ḥanīfa said: “I think that the cause of Ibrāhīm al-Ṣāʾigh’s killing, and what emboldened him against the man, was a report he heard from me from the Prophet, peace be upon him, concerning an unjust ruler.”

The source’s awkward وما تجرأ is read nominally as “what emboldened him,” not as an added negation.
