This Aflaḥ did not see Abū Ḥanīfa; he met only Judge Abū Yūsuf. Aflaḥ was the first to bring Abū Ḥanīfa’s teachings to Bukhara. Abū Ḥafṣ al-Kabīr learned from him, then went to Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥasan.
